Experience A Day as a Male Underwear Model
Let’s be honest—getting your client to hit a new PR on their deadlift is satisfying. Watching their waistline drop another inch is rewarding. But handing them a pair of designer briefs, stepping behind a camera, and telling them, “Okay, now show me what you got, POSE!'
That’s a different kind of flex.
I started from being unhealthy, unfit, shy, and lacking confidence to becoming an underwear model. It is amazing standing in front of the camera, knowing where you're coming from and where you are now. It is an incredible feeling that I can't put into words. I am more than happy to show you, though.
When I do personal training, I don’t just build bodies. I build confidence. And recently, I decided to take one of my top clients on a journey that went far beyond the gym floor. I invited him to step into my world—literally.
Welcome to a day as an underwear male model.
The Invitation
It was the week leading up to Valentine’s Day. My client had been absolutely smashing his goals. The definition was there. The confidence in the gym was undeniable. He looked amazing in my underwear designs. But I wanted him to see himself the way I see him.
So, I pitched him the idea: a duo photoshoot. Valentine’s themed. Just him, me, and a lens.
No judgment. No stiff, cheesy poses. Just two guys, owning the room, wearing premium underwear, and creating art that would be featured across my website, my social channels, and—if we nailed it—my actual underwear brand’s website.
He said yes. And honestly? He showed up ready to work.

Posing 101: More Than Just Flexing
Most guys think modelling is just sucking in your gut and flexing your bicep. Wrong! It’s storytelling.
I walked him through the ropes. How to breathe into a pose. How to create tension in the shoulders without looking stiff. How to angle his jaw so the light catches it just right. How to make love to the lens. How to flirt with the lens. We worked on eye contact with the lens—making love to the camera, not fighting it.
We played with shadows, proximity, and dynamic tension. The Valentine’s theme gave us a narrative: desire, connection, strength.
He was nervous for the first five minutes. But by minute ten? He was teaching in the elements.
The Duo Dynamic
There’s something powerful about shooting alongside your coach. It’s not just about “looking good.” It’s about trust. When you’ve spent months motivating and inspiring each other, grinding through reps, and celebrating small wins, standing side-by-side in front of a camera feels less like a photoshoot and more like a victory lap.
We moved as a unit. We mirrored intensity. We even laughed when things got a little too spicy for two guys in underwear.
But the images? Absolute fire.
The Verdict
When we wrapped, I sent him the images the next day. I asked him how he felt. His answer stopped me in my tracks:
“I felt cared-for. The experience was fun, daring, empowering, sexy, and life-changing.”
He could not believe the images and that he was on the home page of Club Seven Underwear. Yes, the photos look incredible. Yes, they’re looking amazing on Instagram and Twitter.
But more than that? My client walked out of that studio standing taller than when he walked in. He didn’t just gain muscle during our time together. He gained a whole new layer of self-belief.
Ready for Your Close-Up?
This isn’t just a photoshoot. It’s a celebration of how far you’ve come. Whether you’re 12 weeks in or 12 months deep, there comes a moment where the mirror isn’t enough. You need to see the transformation frozen in time.
If you’re ready to step out of your comfort zone and into the frame, let’s talk. Because nothing says “I made it” quite like seeing yourself featured as a muse for the brand you love to wear.
